CANINE COMPANIONS

TTouch promotes healthy realtionships along with humane training methods using a holistic approach for the canine body/mind/spirit.

"The Touch That Teaches"

The TTouch Method offers a way to effectively influence the behavior animals, by affecting their willingness and ability to learn. The focus is on improving the quality of a animals life by instilling self-confidence and mutual respect. Using a combination of specific “T” Touches, Leading Exercises, and the use of specific equipment this program will help improve many physical and behavioral problems including but not limited to:

Excessive barking or chewing
Leash pulling
Jumping up
Fear-biting
Timidity and shyness
Resistance to grooming
Hyperactivity, fear of thunder

You and your animal will experience a positive, no-force approach to training.  Please note I DO NOT USE shock collars, choke chains, prong collars or  do anything that could potentially harm your dog.

Learn to do TTOUCH for your pet (See workshop page)
At half day and day long workshops you will learn a few basic touches, techniques to help with dogs that pull, bark excessively or have a fear of thunder storms/loud noises.  In addition, you will learn some other interesting facts and tricks to help calm and nurture your companion(s).

I'LL COME TO YOUR HOME FOR PRIVATE TTOUCH  SESSIONS

If your animal is experiencing physical or emotional changes, I recommend that your animal first be seen by a veterinarian to be sure it is not a health issue.  TTouch or any of the work I do, does not replace veterinary care, ALWAYS CONSULT A VETERINARY FIRST.
During a private TTouch session we will discuss what your animals behavior, I will evaluate the situation and make suggestions about how you might help your animal.  I will explain to you about TTouch and will teach you a few touches.  We will discuss when and how to apply what you learn in our session and I may make some suggestions about your companions’ environment.  The session usually last about 45 min to 1 hour.  I normally suggest 3 - 5 sessions to get the best results.

“When our beautiful, bright and sweet spirited Doberman, Gertie, was diagnosed with Wobbler’s Disease, she was offered a prognosis of six months.…...We are grateful for her feedback, which included many observations of behavior that were essential to our decision and could have been easily overlooked by the untrained eye.   We are forever grateful to the work Christina provided, and I would and have recommended her to others for help with their animals without reservation.”
